Procedure: |
|
|
1. soak tamarind in 1 cup water for 15 minutes and squeeze the tamarind water. 2. Boil the tomatoes in 3 cups of water for 5 minutes. Cool the water, remove the skin and mash the tomatoes with a hand held blender. 3. In a large saucepan, add 1 tsp ghee and add ginger, green chilles and curry leaves. Add the tomato. 4. Add the tamarind water. 5. Add salt, turmeric powder, rasam powder. let it boil. 6. Remove from stove when about to boil.Add cilantro leaves 7. Add 1 tsp ghee, mustard seeds, jeera and 1 whole red chill. |
