Ingredients:
Daal-----------1cup
lady's finger----2
Brinjal---------2
Drumstick-----5-10 pieces
Bottle guard---half
Carrot--------2
Onion---------2 small
Green Chillies-5
Curry leaves--5
Salt-----------to taste
Chilli pwdr----to taste
Turmeric pwdr-1 tbsp
Tamarind Juice-1 tbsp
sambar pwdr---1 tbsp
Procedure:
Boil daal(dont add salt while boiling) and all the vegetables separately.
Note:Boil the vegetables with salt and turmeric pwdr
1) Paste daal completely in a mixer preferably and add tamarind juice,salt,chilli pwdr and sambar pwdr(ready made/homemade).
2)Add all the boiled vegetables to the above mixture.
3) Let it come to a boil.
4)Lastly,take a pan add some oil then add chana dal,mustard seeds,jeera,garlic(2-3),hing(pinch),curryleaves.Fry all these in oil and add to the above prepared sambar.
5)Add some coriander leaves to taste.
