Vegetable Biryani


Ingredients: 

Basmati Rice----2 Cups
Onion-----------1
Green chillies----4
Carrot----------2
Potato----------1
Beans-----------3
Green Peas-----Hand full
Cashew--------To taste
All Spices for seasoning
Veg pulao masala/garam masala---1 tbsp
ginger garlic paste------1 tbsp
Salt--------------------To taste
Turmeric pwdr---------1 tbsp
Chilli pwdr-------------1 tbsp
mint n cilantro leaves----to taste

Procedure:

1)Soak rice for and set aside for half an hour.
2)take a pan with ghee/butter and add all the spices and fry for 2 minutes.
3)Add onions and green chillies to it and fry till golden brown then add ginger garlic paste.
4)Add all the cut vegetables and fry them till they are cooked.
5)now add masala pwdr,salt,turmeric pwdr,chilli pwdr and mix well.
6) now take the soaked rice and add the above mixture to it and let the rice to cook well.
7)serve hot with onion raita.

Tip:
for 1 cup of basmati rice add 11/2 cups of water to cook.
